Storr Tractor needed a solution to wirelessly connect certain diagnostic tools and also offer customers guest wireless internet access. Security was a top priority along with getting the project done at the very best price.
THE NORTHEAST DATA SOLUTION
Northeast Data proposed and installed an Extreme Networks complete wireless solution. This solution included a C25 wireless controller, that was easy to configure and make network wide changes with a click of the mouse. This solution also included high performance, enterprise grade 802.11n 3705 access points. The customer had the added bonus of integrating company owned notebooks into this solution using 802.11x authentication, leveraging the existing Microsoft Active Directory user database.
THE RESULTS
Storr Tractor has been benefiting from the freedom of having a secure and robust wireless network available whenever it is needed, along with a management interface that is web based and simple to navigate.
