Procter & Gamble

Procter & Gamble, a multi-billion dollar manufacturing company, required a vendor that could meet their standard which included an experienced networking vendor familiar with the procedures of current LAN standards to create a Design Build package for their new mixing centers. P&G also required assistance with vendor selection and ongoing project management during the project. The company or companies selected were required to meet the current P&G standards, which include being Corning, Belden, and Panduit certified, and capable of meeting tight installations schedules.

Northeast Data’s Design / Installation departments were the solution to the P&G business challenge. We provided a complete design package for all six of the CRN mixing centers, from the initial design concept, to the final as-built package. Northeast Data completed all of the Network Designs and provided constant technical support and project management for all of the CRN mixing centers. This support took place all over the country, from California to Pennsylvania. Northeast Data was also one of the three preferred vendors in the US to bid on the installation of the mixing centers, and a successful bidder for two of the locations. Northeast Data’s BICSI-trained technicians, who are all Corning, Belden, and Panduit certified, installed the network infrastructure without any issues and within the tight time constraints.

Procter & Gamble was able to rely on Northeast Data for all of their design and installation needs. The result is a well-managed, well-documented and well-designed network that was professionally installed without a hitch. Northeast Data was able to offer the highest quality at a fair price, and a start-to-finish solution.
